The petitioner, alleging non-compliance of the order dated 19.07.2016 made in W.P.No.22096 of 2016 has filed this Contempt Petition.

2. Heard the submission of Mr.R.Narendran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Prabhu, learned Standing

Counsel, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent/contemner.

3. Learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondent/contemner would submit that the respondent vide proceedings dated 26.09.2016 in Na.Ka.No.G2/5133/2016 has rejected the request made by the petitioner.

4. The said proceedings is taken on file and the same is recorded.

5.In the light of the said development, nothing survives in this contempt petition for adjudication. Therefore, the contempt Petition is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the above said proceedings in accordance with law before the competent forum.
