ORDER

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the respondents to provide electricity service connection to the petitioner's premises at Door No. 48, Bharath Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, 3rd Cross Street, Kolathur, Chennai- 99, based on the Representation dated 17.3.2021.

2. Since the writ petition was instituted in the year 2021 and 2.5 years lapsed, the learned counsel for the respondents would submit that in the event of filing any fresh application, the case of the petitioner would be considered.

3. In view of the said submission, the petitioner is at liberty to submit an appropriate application though on-line mode under the prescribed format for seeking electricity service connection and on receipt of the same, the respondent Board shall consider it on merits and in accordance with law by following the procedures as contemplated. 2/4
