Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents, more particularly the 4th respondent to give a necessary protection for conducting regular prayer meeting held in "SALEM CHRISTIAN ASSEMBLY MINISTRIES" situated at 1/251,

Salem Thottam, Uthama Solopuram, Salem-10.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the Managing Trustee of Salem Christian Assembly Ministries. The petitioner purchased a property in Survey No.8/1B, 8/2A, in the name of Salem Christian Assembly Ministries property situated at Salem District, by registered document No.29, dated 06.01.2016, on the file of SRO Virabandi, Salem District and constructed a church under the name and style "SALEM CHRISTRIAN ASSEMBLY MINISTRIES" and conducting prayers. The learned counsel would further submit that 1.Vaiyapuri, 2.Dharman, 3.Gobi, 4.Mahalingam and Vijayaraiyar and others are objecting for conducting prayer meetings in the premises. They came to the petitioner's ministries and scolded with filthy languages and threatened them not to conduct any prayer meetings. The above said persons are objecting the said prayer meetings in order to create religious problems within the area for political reasons. Hence, this petition.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor. 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, the 3rd respondent is hereby directed to conduct enquiry as per the summons dated 18.01.2019 after giving opportunity of hearing to all the parties concerned and pass appropriate orders on merits within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
