The petitioner has come up with this writ petition for a mandamus, directing the respondent to return back the parcels, based on his representation dated 17.07.2018. 2.The case of the petitioner is that he is doing Cargo Business at Central Railway Station and a licence holder to supply bedspread, linen etc., for Chennai Howrah Coromandal Express. While so, he booked goods to Howrah, during the course of which, 10 parcels weighing 550 kilograms of Aluminium vessels were not boarded the train for want of documents and the same was taken away by the railway authority. Hence, he submitted a representation dated 17.07.2018 to the respondent, to return the parcels in question. Finding no response on his representation, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent on instructions, submitted that the respondent authority is ready to consider the representation of the petitioner, if the petitioner is able to produce all the necessary documents, to establish his claim.

4. In reply the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is ready to produce all the required documents before the concerned authority.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without going into the merits of the case, the petitioner is directed to submit all the necessary documents to the respondent, along with a copy of this order, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of the same. On such submission, the respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible.

6. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
