Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents to produce the corpus of the detenu, namely Ramya daughter of the petitioner, Hindu, aged about 21 years before this Court and set her at liberty.

[Order of the Court was made by M.JAICHANDREN, J.] Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor has produced a statement said to have been recorded by the second respondent police from the detenue, namely, Ramya, who is the daughter of the petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
herein.
3. In the petition, the petitioner has claimed that his daughter Ramya was kidnapped by the third respondent and in this connection, he had lodged a complaint with the second respondent and based on his complaint, a case in Crime No.739 of 2016 was registered under Section 366 IPC against the third respondent . 4.On a perusal of the statement dated 01.04.2016, said to have been recorded from the detenue, we are able to understand that the detenue and the third respondent got married in a temple at Pallikonda and that they had also registered their marriage before the Sub-Registrar, Pallikonda. The Additional Public Prosecutor has also produced a copy of their Marriage Certificate. Considering the statement recorded from the detenue, we are of the view that no further order is necessary in this petition as she has attained majority. Accordingly, this Habeas Corpus Petition stand closed.
