O R D E R

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed to direct the learned District Munsif Court, Pappireddipatty, Dharmapuri District to expedite O.S.No.163 of 2013, within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

3. The revision petitioner is the eighth defendant. The suit has been filed by first respondent / plaintiff for declaration and permanent injunction against the defendants. During the pendency of the suit, the first defendant died and the legal heirs of the deceased first defendant were impleaded as defendants 3 to 7. The revision petitioner who is a subsequent purchaser has been impleaded as eighth defendant in the suit.

4. The learned counsel for the revision petitioner submitted that despite the suit is pending from the year 2013, no progress has been made and the suit is still pending at the stage of filing written statement. The eighth defendant is the senior citizen and she was also impleaded as a party to the 2/4

proceedings through an order passed in I.A.No.1137 of 2018.

5. The eighth defendant is a senior citizen and the E-Court status would show that the case is pending for several years due to pendency of Civil Revision Petition proceedings before this Court. Now it seems that there is no stay pending and the other proceedings before this Court also got disposed. In such circumstances, the learned Trial Judge can be impressed to dispose the suit as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six months.

6. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition stands disposed and the learned Trial Judge is directed to dispose the suit as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six months.
