Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to provide employment to the petitioners according to their entitlement on priority basis under the Land Owners (displaced persons) category, forthwith. O R D E R

The relief sought for in this writ petition is for seeking for a direction to be issued to the 3rd respondent to provide employment to the petitioners, according to their entitlement, on priority basis under the Land Owners (displaced persons) category, forthwith.

2.The writ petition is preferred against the Salem Steel Plant and the Government of India issued a notification under the provisions of the Administrative Tribunals Act 1985. Thus in respect of Steel Authority of India Limited, the jurisdiction of this Court has been ousted. Accordingly, the writ petition has to be heard by the Central Administrative Tribunal, Chennai Bench.

3.Registry is directed to transfer all the case papers to the Central Administrative Tribunal, Chennai Bench for further adjudication in this regard. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
