ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to comply with directions issued by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tambaram, Chennai, on 21.02.2020 in Crl.MP.No.777 of 2020 by conducting a preliminary enquiry on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tambaram had passed an order dated 21.02.2020 in Crl.MP.No.777 of 2020, by directing the respondent to register a case under Section 156(3) based on the complaint dated 11.11.2019 after making a preliminary enquiry. Inspite of such direction given by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Tambaram, there was no progress made in the investigation, hence, the petitioner has filed this Criminal Original Petition before this Court.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that enquiry has already been conducted and the First Information Report in Crime No. 150 of 2021 has also been registered on 17.04.2021 for the offence https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

under Section 406, 420 of IPC.Therefore, the prayer sought for in this petition to comply with the direction given by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tambaram in Crl.MP.No.777 of 2020 passed on 21.02.2020 will not arise.

4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents.

5. Pursuant to the direction issued by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tambaram, it is stated that a preliminary enquiry has been conducted and a First Information Report has been registered in Crime No. 150 of 2021 on 17.04.2021. Therefore, recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
