Petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the Respondent to provide electricity connection to his house bearing Old No.81, New No.68, Pudupet Street, Alandur, Chennai 600 016, on paying necessary charges. 2.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Standing Counsel for the Respondent/Electricity Board submitted that, during the pendency of the Writ Petition, electricity connection has been provided to the Petitioner's house.

As the relief sought for by the Petitioner has been granted, nothing further survives for consideration in this Writ Petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs.
