Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing respondents 1 to 3 to pass orders on the representation dated 09.12.2021 by evicting the 4th respondent from the petitioner's property at Kolumannivakkam, Kamatchiamman Nagar, Plot No.2, Mangadu, Kancheepuram District.

Mr.E.Sundaram, learned Government Advocate accepts notice for R1 to R3 and is armed with instructions to proceed with the matter finally even at this juncture. In view of the nature of order that is passed in this Writ Petition, no notice is thought
necessary to R4. Hence, by consent of learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Advocate, this Writ Petition is disposed finally even at the stage of admission.
2. It is submitted by both sides that R2 is The Revenue Divisional Officer, Sriperumbudur and not Kancheepuram. Let the array of R2 be corrected accordingly.
3. The petitioner, who is a senior citizen, has sought a mandamus directing the official respondents to pass orders on his representation dated 09.12.2021 filed in terms of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 (in short 'Act').
4. Mr.Sundaram, on instructions, would submit that the matter is posted for enquiry on 25.04.2022. Even this hearing date was fixed only after the present Writ Petition has been filed and constitutes blatant violation of the requirement under the Act for speedy disposal of such matters, within a period of 90 days from date of filing of application.
5. Be that as it may, since hearing date is now fixed, let the authorities pass orders on the representation of the petitioner within a period of four (4) weeks from 25.04.2022, after hearing the petitioner and R4, in accordance with all applicable Rules and Regulations.
