Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the opposite party promised to marry the petitioner and had physical affair with her and thereafter went back upon the promise. On the complaint given by the petitioner to the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station (South), Thiruppur, Petition Enquiry is pending in CSR No.162 of 2015. While so, the opposite party approached this Court in Crl.O.P.No.17067 of 2015 for Anticipatory bail and the matter was referred to the Mediation Centre. When this was brought to the notice of this Court, this petition was also referred to the Mediation Centre. Mediation Centre had taken up along with Crl.O.P.No.17067 of 2015. The Mediation Centre has sent a report https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

dated 11.11.2015 wherein it is stated that the parties were not able to arrive at an amicable settlement.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the petition in CSR No.162 of 2015 has now been transferred to the file of the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station (North), Thiruppur. Hence this Court directs the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station (North), Thiruppur to conduct investigation on the complaint dated 19.06.2015 given by the petitioner and take action in accordance with law laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1 (Lalitha kumari Vs. Government of Uttarpradesh & Others).

With the above direction this petition is closed. Registry is directed to mark a copy of the order to the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, (North), Thiruppur.
