O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register a case based upon petitioner's complaint dated 23.5.2014.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the petitioner was called for enquiry and since he did not appear, enquiry was closed on 27.06.2014.

4. Petition enquiry is reopened with a direction to the petitioner to appear before the respondent police and co-operate in the enquiry. The respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry and take action in accordance with the law laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)].
