Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to treat the petitioner's one-year bond period as completed and to consequently relieve her from her bonded service in the Government Medical College, Thiruvallur and to direct the 5th respondent to return her original certificates and documents collected during her post graduate admission along with her post Graduate degree certificate, Tranfer Certificate and conduct certificate.

Mr.K.Tippu Sultan, learned Government Advocate accepts notice for the respondents and is armed with instructions to enable final disposal of this Writ Petition, even at the stage of admission.

The petitioner prays for a mandamus for being relieved from bonded duty and for return of original certificates and documents collected from her at the time of her admission to post-graduate course. The petitioner claims to have rendered sufficient covid duty, for which requisite certificate to be issued in terms of G.O.(Ms.)No.371, dated 18.11.2023.

The petitioner has made representations dated 08.03.2024 before the respondents through e-mail as well as by speed post, the latter being received by the respondents on 09.03.2024 (postal track enclosed) seeking the same relief as sought for in this Writ Petition. In fact, this Writ Petition has been instituted on 18.03.2024, very proximate to the date when the representations have been received.
4. Hence, this Writ Petition is pre-mature, and the petitioner may well pursue her representation before the respondents, bringing to their notice relevant Government Orders for appropriate action and the respondents shall consider the same in accordance with law.
5. This Writ Petition stands dismissed with liberty as above. No costs.
