Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of mandamus directing the 1st to 5th Respondents herein to initiate appropriate action to remove the above said illegal encroachments to an extent of 20 feet in the entire stretch of the southern side of the public road i.e. Shasthri Nagar Main Road, Ward D, Block 50, T.S. No. 194, Ponniammanmedu, Madhavaram Village Madhavaram Taluk in the interest of general public as the public living in and around the above said locality have been facing enormous hindrance in view of the above said illegal encroachment. ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) This writ petition has been filed to seek direction on the respondents 1 to 5 to remove the encroachments made to an extent of
20 feet in the entire stretch of the southern side of Shasthri Nagar Main Road, Ward D, Block 50, T.S.No.194. Ponniammanmedu, Madhavaram Village and Taluk.
2. Learned counsel for the respondent Corporation by producing photographs submitted that the encroachments have been removed, to which learned counsel for the petitioner has shown satisfaction.
3. In view of the above, the writ petition is ordered to be closed. There will be no order as to costs.
