Respondents Prayer:- This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of Habeas Corpus to call for the records in connection with the detention order dated 15/11/2014 in Memo No.1837/BCDFGISSSV/2014 of the second respondent and direct the respondents to produce the detenu, namely, Chellaiah, S/O.Uththandar, before this Court and set him at liberty and quash the same.

(Order of the Court was made by Dr.Justice S.Tamilvanan) The petitioner, who is the daughter of the detenu Chellaiah, S/o. Uththandar, aged about 26 years, has come forward with this petition challenging the detention order passed by the 2nd respondent dated 15/11/2014 against her father branding him as a "Goonda" under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Cyber Law Offenders, Drug Offenders, Forest Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders, Sand Offenders, Sexual Offenders, Slum Grabbers, and Video Pirates Act, 1982(Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982).

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the 2nd respondent as against the father of the petitioner dated 15/11/2014 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. [Rt] No.176, Home, Prohibition & Excise (XIII) Department dated 9/1/2015 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is closed as the same has become infructuous.
