ORDER

The present Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent herein to file a final report in Cr.No.5/2022 on the file of the respondent within a time frame.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the

petitioner is the complainant who lodged a complaint before the respondent police which was registered in Crime No.5 of 2022 against three persons in the year 2022 and however, there is no progress thereafter. Therefore, the petitioner has filed this petition seeking a direction to the respondent police to file a final report before the Judicial Magistrate concerned. 3.

When the matter was taken up today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police by producing a copy of the Deletion Report dated 04.05.2022 of the Deputy Superintendent of Police submitted that on completion of detailed enquiry, the final report as against the first and second accused deleting the name of the third accused in the said crime number was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Villupuram. 4.

Recording the aforesaid submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 12-03-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order SRM
