.. Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 26.02.2016 within a time frame to be framed by this Court.

O R D E R

Heard Mr.N.Ishtiaq Ahmed, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.M.Muthukumar, learned Government Advocate,

accepting notice on behalf of respondents. With the consent of the learned counsel on either side, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to pass orders on his representation dated 26.02.2016, within a time frame.

3. The petitioner appears to have been doing business in electrical and hardwares in the name and style of "ASIAN MARKETING" at Coimbatore. It is stated that the third respondent / President, Bilichi Panchayat, during the period from 18.06.2012 to 20.05.2013, purchased spare parts of street lights, new street lights, sanitary wares from the petitioner firm. However, so far no payments have been made. Therefore, the petitioner firm sent several representations to the Authorities including the respondents 1 and 2 to make the payment. But, the respondents 1 and 2 have not even responded to any of the representations.

4. In the light of the above, there will be a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.02.2016 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law and intimate the petitioner as to the exact state of affairs so as to enable the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. The above direction shall be complied with by the respondent, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
