ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the impugned return order dated 21.01.2026 in Application Number TN- 7202507281512 passed by the 1st respondent and quash the same and direct the respondents to issue legal heir certificate to the petitioner without insisting the death certificate of the petitioners father based upon the documentary evidence provided by the petitioner affirming the death of late S.Srinivasan.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the documents placed on record.
3. This Court, vide order dated 13.03.2026, directed the respondents to issue legal heirship certificate to the petitioner within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and directed to post the matter on 02.04.2026 for reporting compliance.
4. Today, viz., 02.04.2026, when the petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the order passed by this Court on 13.03.2026, has been complied with and the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner also acknowledged the same.
5. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents that the order passed by this Court on 13.03.2026 has been complied with, this Writ Petition is closed.
