BY ITS MANAGING PARTNER THE PETITIONS] P.KASTURI NO.33,THIRUVENGADAM STREET, RAMAKRISHNA NAGAR, CHENNAI-600028 Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to extend another 8 weeks time to deposit the interest amount Rs.18,60,000/- Along with suit amount Rs.21,76,200/- reflected in the decree on the account of EP No.4099/2019 in OS No.10029/2010 pending on the file of the IX Assistant City Civil Judge, Chennai [IN C.M.P.No.7211 of 2022 in CRP(NPD).No.700 of 2022]; 2.To extend another 8 weeks time to deposit the interest amount Rs.12,40,000/- Along with suit amount Rs.13,75,156/- reflected in the decree on the account of E.P.No.4101/2019 in OS No.10188/2010 pending on the file of the IX Assistant City Civil Judge, Chennai [IN C.M.P.No.7212 of 2022 in CRP(NPD).No.701 of 2022] respectively.

The revision petitioner seeks extension of time for complying with the condition passed by this Court dated 11.03.2022, under which, this Court had directed the revision petitioner to deposit the decretal sum before the Execution Court. He submitted that a demand draft has been purchased but it was not accepted by the Execution Court.
2.Learned counsel for the respondent submitted that while this Court has directed to deposit the decretal sum, the revision petitioner /judgment debtor has come forward to deposit only the Suit claim. In other words, he conveniently ignores the future interest accrued on the original sum. He also made a statement that the Suit is for arrears of rent and the revision petitioner is a Trust, which runs Engineering college etc., 3.For the present, the Suit claim shall be deposited before the Execution Court on 29.04.2022 and the Execution Court is directed to accept the demand draft of the Suit claim.
