The petitioners have filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the first and second respondents to consider and dispose the petitioners' representation dated 27.03.2012 and take steps to reopen the water channel and cart track existed on the survey No.496 in Oonai Vaniyambadi Village, Vellore Taluk and District and thereby enable the petitioners to carry on cultivation on theirs' land namely 1.62 acres in S.No.464/2, 98 cents in S.No.498/2, 67 cents in S.No.498/1 and 17 cents in S.No.497/2 Vaniambadi Oonai Village, Vellore Taluk and District.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners report 'no instructions'.

3.In view of the above, this writ petition is dismissed for non prosecution. No costs.
