This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned publication of the fifth respondent made in Daily Thanthi, Tiruppur Edition dated 24.11.2024 under Section 7(1) of the Petroleum and Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962.

Heard Ms.A.Pramila, learned counsel for petitioner, Mr.T.M.Pappiah, learned counsel appearing for first respondent, Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for third respondent, Mr.Krishna Srinivasan, learned Senior Counsel appearing for fourth respondent and Mr.AR.L.Sundaresan, learned Additional Solicitor General-I appearing for fifth respondent.

In the considered view of this Court, it is not necessary for this Court to go into the merits of this case since the issue in hand is squarely covered by two earlier orders passed by this Court in W.P.No.38435 of 2024 etc. batch dated 21.12.2024 and W.P.No.37936 of 2024 etc. batch dated 29.01.2025. The grounds that have been raised in the present writ petition were considered by two learned Judges of this Court and it was rejected and those writ petitions were dismissed. I am in complete agreement with the reasoning that has been assigned in these two orders and hence, the present writ petition must also suffer the same fate.
