This is the second anticipatory bail application and the first anticipatory bail application in Crl.OP.No.14869 of 2015 was dismissed by this Court on 01.07.2015.

2. On a complaint lodged by the petitioner's wife, the respondent police registered a case in Crime No.2 of 2015 under Section 498A, 406 and 506[i] IPC.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the de facto complainant has initiated proceedings under the Domestic Violence Act in MC.No.14 of 2013 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ambasamudram and during the pendency of the same, she has lodged the present complaint before the Ayanavaram Police, as if the cruelty had taken place in Chennai.

4. Taking into consideration all these aspects, this Court is of the view that this is a fit case to grant anticipatory bail and anticipatory bail is granted on the following conditions :

The petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance, within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, before the learned V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai,

on condition that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- [Rupees ten thousand only] with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai. ii. The petitioner shall appear before the respondent police everyday at 6.30 p.m. for a period of four weeks and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation. 02.09.2015 gya
