For Petitioner : Mr.Suriya Prakash For Respondents : Mr.R.Pratap Kumar, APP Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM,J The petitioner has filed this writ petition stating that he is the friend of one Mr.A.P.Suryaprakasam practising before this Court and that he has been kept in illegal confinement in his residence in Lloyds Road, Royapettah.
2. When the case is called before us, the detenu is present in court. However, it is the endeavour of the alleged detenu to state that several people have been detained in their respective places and have been prevented to move out even to purchase food, milk, etc.

3. This petition is not a public interest litigation and we cannot entertain any such plea in this petition. Apart from that, there is absolutely no proof to show as to what is the nature of illegal detention. Hence, no grounds have been made out to entertain this petition.
4. Accordingly, the above habeas corpus petition is dismissed.
