Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Official Respondents to allow the Petitioner to appear Teacher Eligibility Test Paper-II examination based on the Notification No.01/2022 dated 07.03.2022 issued by the 6th Respondent, by accepting the application of the Petitioner through Offline/Manual mode without reference to percentage of marks in B.A.(History) Degree.

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to file a fresh writ petition challenging the prescribed qualification for appointment to the post of teacher. He has also made an endorsement in the court bundle to that effect.
2. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and in view of the endorsement made, this Writ Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn granting such liberty. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
