Respondents (R5 Suo-motto impleaded vide order dated 09.04.2020 made in WP.No.7423 of 2020) Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents (a) to provide relief measures to the public those who do not have family ration card (b) to issue relief measures on the basis of Aadhaar card or driving license or any other identity issued by the competent authority and pass orders or order which this Hon'ble High Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstance of the case.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) We have perused the status reports filed. In view of the same, no further order is required in this writ petition. However, as and when any request is made for the Identity Card, the same will have to be looked into by the officials of the fifth respondent and appropriate action will have to be taken. We make it clear that such an action will have to be taken within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of such request.

2. The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
