ORDER
The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.02.2021 for appointment to the post of Cook.
2. No representation for the petitioner. Heard Mr.P.Sanjai Gandhi, learned Government Advocate for the respondents.
3. The petitioner has registered before the District Employment and Career Guidance Centre, Tiruvarur in Registration No. TRD2016F00002426 on 03.04.2017. She got married to one Muthukrishnan and she belongs to some other caste. she also obtained inter-caste certificate from the concerned authority on 29.12.2016. The third respondent has invited application for recruitment of 28 posts of Cook and Cleaner on 25.11.2020 and for which, the last date for submission of the application is 07.12.2020. The petitioner also applied to the said post and she attended interview on 30.12.2020. Subsequent to Page No.2 of 6
that, she made a representation on 09.02.2021 to the third respondent to consider her claim and appoint her as a Cook. Since no order has been passed so far, this Writ Petition has been filed with the above prayer.
4. The learned Government Advocate for the respondents submitted that the first respondent had appointed a three member committee and selected candidates for appointment to the post of Cook. The petitioner had appeared for the interview and produced the certificates and documents before the selection committee. Since the petitioner has not fulfilled the criteria for the appointment to the post of Cook, she was not selected by the selection committee and appointment orders were issued to those candidates who were found to be fit for the post vide proceedings in Lr.No.Na.Ka.7660/2020/K4 dated 24.02.2021. Hence, the petitioner has filed this petition without any basis and the same should be dismissed.
5. Even though there is no representation for the petitioner, the averments of the petitioner and the documents produced along with the Page No.3 of 6
petition were perused. Even after the selection was over, the petitioner had made a representation. Since the petitioner was not selected by the selection committee and the appointments have been issued to other candidates who found to be fit for the post, the petitioner's case cannot be considered. Further, the petitioner has not stated any reasons as to why the selection made by the third respondent is not valid. Without challenging the appointment orders issued in Lr.No.Na.Ka.7660/2020/K4 dated 24.02.2021, the petitioner has filed this Petition without any merits. Hence, this Writ Petition is liable to be dismissed.
