This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to register the complaint filed by the petitioner dated 05.03.2014 on the file of the respondent Police.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 & 2.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that his mother, who is aged about 82 years had settled her properties in favour of his brothers, excluding this petitioner, by executing a deed on 27.01.2014. Immediately, on the next day i.e., on 28.01.2014, this petitioner received information that, his mother had committed suicide by hanging.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that a case in Crime No.13 of 2014 under Section 174 Cr.P.C., is under investigation and during the course of investigation, if it is found that the case is of homicide, the Police would file an alteration report.

5. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with a direction to the respondent Police to furnish a copy of the result of investigation to this petitioner, so that he would have his liberty to challenge the same.
