ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking extension of time to deposit 20% of the cheque amount i.e., Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees one lakh only) in Crl.M.P.No. 1/2025 in Crl.A.No. 855/2025, arising out of S.T.C.No. 1937 of

2022 on the file of the Metropolitan Magistrate, IV Fast Track Court, George Town , Chennai - 600 001.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant two weeks time to deposit the 20% of the cheque amount of Rs.1,00,000/- from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in Crl.M.P.No.1 of 2025 in Crl.A.No.855 of 2025 arising out of S.T.C.No.1937 of 2022 on the file of the Metropolitan Magistrate, IV Fast Track Court, George Town, Chennai.

4. It is made clear that no further extension of time shall be granted. In the event of failure, the order shall automatically stand cancelled.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
