Criminal Revision Petition filed under Sections 397 and 401 of Cr.P.C. against the order dated 19.03.2010 passed by the learned First Additional District and Sessions Judge, Coimbatore in C.A.No.16 of 2010 confirming the order dated 06.01.2010 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.2, Pollachi in C.C. ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had died on 29.09.2013 and he also produced a copy of the Death Certificate to evidence the same.

2. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing on behalf of the respondent would submit that since the petitioner had died, the charges as against him stands abated.

3. In view of the above submission made on either side, since the petitioner had died, the conviction and the sentence imposed as against him shall stand abated. Accordingly, this Criminal Revision Case is closed.
