This petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent to give protection to petitioner to build new compound wall with gate in the petitioner property and her complaint dated on 05.01.2026 and issue further direction to other respondents for monitoring and to pass an appropriate order with regard, accordance with law.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 4 to 6 and perused the entire documents placed on record.
3. On a perusal of the records and upon hearing the submissions made on other side, it reveals that the subject property is claimed by the petitioner and the respondents 3 to 6 herein. Further, all are close relatives, already, civil suits are also pending in O.S.Nos.2567 and 2403 of 2025 before City Civil Court, Chennai. That apart, the petitioner also filed O.P.No.104 of 2026 before this Court to probate the Will executed in favour of the petitioner, therefore, pending Civil Suits and also pending Original Petition for probate of the Will executed in favour of the petitioner, the representation submitted by the petitioner seeking police protection to put up compound wall, cannot be considered and the present petition is devoid of merits. The police protection can be given only to life and limb of the person and not for the property. Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed.
