ORDER
This Court, while disposing of the Writ Petition in W.P.No.8481 of 2016, by order dated 08.03.2016, directed the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.01.2016 and to pass an appropriate order, on merits and in accordance with law, by affording an opportunity of personal hearing, within a period of six weeks.
2.Alleging non-compliance of the said order dated 08.03.2016, the present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner.
3.Today, when the matter is taken up, there is no representation for the petitioner. However, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent, by producing a copy of the proceedings issued by the respondent vide e/f/3223/2016/M dated --.02.2018, submitted that the representation of the petitioner was considered and the respondent has passed an order rejecting the claim of the petitioner. Thus, the learned Government Advocate submitted that the order of this Court has been duly complied with by this Court.
4.Since the order of this Court has been complied with, nothing survives in this contempt petition and accordingly, the same is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the order passed by the respondent, if he is so advised.
