The petitioner who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 16.03.2020 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 452, 324, 307 r/w 149 of IPC in crime No.16 of 2005 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The learned Public Prosecutor (Pondy) appearing for the petitioner submitted that the respondent competed investigation and laid charge sheet in S.C.No.7 of 2009 on the file of the I Additional Session Judge, Karaikal. He further submitted that after due tiral, the petitioner got acquittal and therefore nothing survive in this present petition.

3. In view of the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
