DATED : 21.04.2020

CORAM

THE HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE R.SUBRAMANIAN G.Babu ... Petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.7226 of 2020 K.Santhosh Kumar ... Petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.7289 of 2020 Vs.

Inspector of Police, Latheri Police Station, Katpadi Taluk, Vellore.

... Respondent in Crl.O.P.No.7226 of 2020 State represented by Inspector of Police, Latheri Police Station, Vellore District.

... Respondent in Crl.O.P.No.7289 of 2020 Common Prayer : Criminal Original Petitions filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. to enlarge the petitioners on bail in connection with Crime No.18 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police.

For Petitioner : Mr.D.Rajagopal in both petitions For Respondent : Mr.S.Karthikeyan Additional Public Prosecutor in both petitions C O M M O N O R D E R The petitioners seek bail in respect of Crime No.18 of 2020 registered against them for the offences under Sections 302, 380 and 120(B) IPC. 2.The petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.7289 of 2020 is the 3rd accused and the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.7226 of 2020 is the 2nd accused. From the FIR, it is seen that, it is the 2nd accused who had inflicted the injury and certain jewels have also been recovered from him. Insofar as the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.7289 of 2020 is concerned, it is seen that, he was the one who provided vital information to the 2nd accused to enable him to carry out the crime. It is also seen that the 3rd accused, namely, the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.7289 of 2020 was arrested only on 01.04.2020.

3.Hence, I do not think that it is a fit case to enlarge the petitioners on bail. Hence, both the bail petitions are dismissed for the present. 21.04.2020 mkn/kkn To 1.The Inspector of Police, Latheri Police Station, Katpadi Taluk, Vellore.
