O R D E R

This revision petition is preferred by the landlord in a rent control proceedings seeking a direction for speedy disposal of R.C.A.No.371 of 2015 pending on the file of the VII Small Causes Court, Chennai.

It is seen that the R.C.O.P was filed in the year 1994 and the landlord had obtained an order of eviction successfully. Thereafter, execution was levied. Even in the execution petition, the tenant is said to have set up a person and filed an obstruction petition in E.A.No.34 of 2013. The said petition was dismissed, against which, the above R.C.A.No.371 of 2015 was filed in the year 2015 and the same is pending till today. The reason for the periodical adjournment is stated as "Await Records". It is also stated that the records are very much available within the same campus before the XIII Small Causes Court, Chennai. Therefore, it is ununderstandable as to why the records could not be taken from the XIII Small Causes Court and R.C.A. disposed of. 3.

In the above factual circumstances, this Court is inclined to direct the VII Small Causes Court, Chennai to dispose of R.C.A.No.371 of 2015. Accordingly, the learned VII Judge, Small Causes Court , Chennai is directed to dispose of R.C.A.No.371 of 2015 on or before 30.06.2017.

With the above direction, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
