95 of 2020 on the file of the Special Court for cases under Prevention of Corruption Act, Chennai and on such payment being made, they shall be released on bail in the event of arrest or on their appearance, within a period of fifteen days from the date on which the order copy made ready, before the Special Court for Cases under the Prevention of Corruption Act, Chennai", in the order dated 15th March 2021 in Crl.O.P.No.1139 of 2021 in Crime No.95 of 2020. These Criminal Miscellaneous Petitions have been filed seeking to modify the condition imposed by this Court against the petitioner directing her to deposit a sum of Rs.25,00,000/- to the credit of Crime No.95 of 2020 on the file of Special Court for cases under the Prevention of Corruption Act, Chennai and on such payment being made, they shall be released on bail in the event of arrest or on their appearance within a period of fifteen days from the date on which the order copy made ready before the Special Court for cases under the Prevention of Corruption Act, Chennai and also seeking to extend the time in the order passed by this Court.
2. The learned counsel appearing for petitioner would submit that since the amount directed to be deposited is very huge sum, she is not able to mobilise the fund. Hence, he has requested to grant four more weeks to deposit the amount.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the condition already imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.1139 of 2021, dated 15.03.2021 is modified, the petitioner is directed to deposit a sum of Rs.25,00,000/- (Rupees twenty five lakhs only) to the credit of Crime No.95 of 2020 on the file of Special Court for cases under the Prevention of Corruption Act, Chennai on or before 01.06.2021.
4. This petition is ordered accordingly.
