PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the order passed by the fifth respondent in his Office Order No.P.III4/2015-19-EC-IV dated 08.01.2016 and quash the same and to direct the respondents to provide lighter job to the petitioner. The medical invalidation of the petitioner is under challenge in the present writ petition.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner died during the pendency of the writ petition and therefore, no further adjudication is required with reference to the medical invalidation order.

3. If the pensionary benefits due to the deceased employee are not disbursed, the respondents are directed to settle all the benefits to the legal heirs by following the procedures as contemplated as expeditiously as possible. 2/4
