O R D E R

The petitioner, who is the husband of the respondent, has filed the above Civil Revision Petition to direct the IIIrd Additional Family Court, Chennai to dispose of the Original Petition in O.P.No.2194 of 2008, within a stipulated time.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's has filed the Original Petition in O.P.No.2194 of 2008 for divorce on the ground of cruelty. According to the learned counsel, though the petitioner as well as the respondent completed the arguments before the Camily Court and the Family Court had reserved the matter for pronouncing orders on 6.4.2013, so far, the IIIrd Additional Family Court, Chennai has not pronounced the orders. In these circumstances, the petitioner has filed the above Civil Revision Petition to direct the Family Court to dispose of the Original Petition within a stipulated time.

3. Having regard to the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Civil Revision Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the IIIrd Additional Family Court, Chennai to pronounce the orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 30.04.2015.

With this observation, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 06.04.2015 Index : No Internet : Yes Note : Issue order copy by 07.04.2015 Rj
