ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.09.2023 and to direct the 2nd respondent to issue Non-traceable certificate for the missing original sale deed No.1386/1993 dated 11.03.1993 as per the Circular Memorandum in Rc.No.2029209/General.1(1)/2022 dated 01.04.2022.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has lost the original sale deed dated 11.03.1993 in Document No.1386 of 1993 on the file of Sub-Registrar Office, Avinashi situated at Kanakkampalayam Village, Avinashi Taluk, Tiruppur District. Hence, she made a representation before the 1st respondent and the same was forwarded to the respondent. However, till date, the 2nd respondent police has not issued the Non-Traceable Certificate to the petitioner.

3. It is submitted by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents that, as per the circular issued by the Page No.2 of 4

office of the Director General of Police/Head of Police Force, Chennai-4, dated 01.04.2022, who ever files an application for issuance of certificate of non traceable of a document, certain requirements are to be followed, as narrated in the said circular memorandum.

Therefore, the petitioner is directed to file fresh application with all the documents concerned and on submission of such petition, the 2nd respondent Police is directed to consider the same and grant Certificate, in case, if she fulfills all the requirements as per the circular issued by the office of the Director General of Police/Head of Police Force, Chennai-4, dated 01.04.2022, within a period of two (2) weeks on the submission of the application with all requirements.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
