O R D E R

(ORDER OF THE COURT WAS MADE BY M.DURAISWAMY, J.) The above Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to remove the encroachments made by the respondents 4 and 5 in the lake poramboke comprised in Survey No.43, situated at Kanangur Village, Kallakruchi Taluk, Villupuram District.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the 4th respondent had encroached the land in Survey No.43 and therefore, the respondents 1 to 3 should remove the encroachments.

3. Mr. S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the respondents had already removed the encroachments in Survey No.43. The 3rd respondent has also filed a compliance report to the said effect. In the said report, the 3rd respondent has stated that the prayer of the petitioner has been fully complied with and the encroachments made by the respondents 4 and 5 have been removed and now the lake is free from any encroachment.

4. The learned Government Advocate also produced the statement made by the petitioner wherein he has stated that the encroachments were removed on 01.07.2019.

5. In view of the compliance report filed by the 3rd respondent, we do not find any reason to give any further direction to the official respondents.. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
