O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to protect the petitioner and his property by considering the police complaint dated 19.03.2022.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he has purchased the property in Old Survey No.65/1, New Survey No.65/15 of Madipakkam Village, admeasuring about 3111 sq.ft., situated at Plot No.29, Mancikavasaga Street, Ramakrishnaraji Nagar, Madipakkam, Chennai 00 091 by registered sale deed dated 18.04.2005 as Document No. 1731 of 2005. The predecessors are having valid title from the year 1947 for the past 75 years. Meanwhile, one Karnakaran, who is a stranger to the property claims title over the property and he is threatening the petitioner and his family members to pay the amount to him. and his henchmen have threatened the petitioner that unless the petitioner pay some amount to them, the petitioner cannot develop the said property as they would put up a hut in the property and occupy the property. In respect of which, the petitioner had given a complaint to the second respondent on 19.03.2022. However, no action has been taken by the second respondent. Thereby, the present petition has been filed seeking for police protection.

3.Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (crl.side) would submit that on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 19.03.2022, due enquiry would be conducted by the second respondent and if necessary, adequate police protection would be given to the petitioner.

4. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petitions stands disposed of.
