Prayer:- This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of Habeas Corpus to call for the records relating to the impugned detention order made in MEMO No.1987/BDFGISSV/2014 dated 28/11/2014 on the file of the second respondent herein and quash the same as illegal and direct the respondent to produce the detenue, Prem @ Premkumar, S/o. Manoharan, Hindu aged about 26 years residing at No.1481, Dr.Ambedkar Nagar, Adambakkam, Chennai now confined at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai before this Court and set him at liberty.

(Order of the Court was made by Dr.Justice S.Tamilvanan) The petitioner, who is the mother of the detenu Prem @ Premkumar, son of Manoharan, aged about 26 years, has come forward with this petition challenging the detention order passed by the 2nd https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent dated 28/11/2014 against her son branding him as a "Goonda" under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Cyber Law Offenders, Drug Offenders, Forest Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders, Sand Offenders, Sexual Offenders, Slum Grabbers, and Video Pirates Act, 1982(Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982).

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the 2nd respondent as against the son of the petitioner dated 28/11/2014 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. [Rt] No.1047, Home, Prohibition & Excise (X) Department dated 16/2/2015 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is closed as the same has become infructuous.
