PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records relating to the detention order No.35/BCDFGISSSV/2025 on 25.02.2025 against the petitioner's brother Tamilselvan, S/o.Selvanathan, aged 42 years, the detenue herein now confined at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai to produce and physically bring the body of the detenue before this Court and set aside the detention order and set him at liberty.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's brother namely Tamilselvan, S/o.Selvanathan, aged 42 years, convict prisoner had passed away during the pendency of the Habeas Corpus Petition.
3.Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the convict prisoner had passed away pending the petition, the prayer in the present Habeas Corpus Petition does not deserve consideration.
4.Accordingly, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
