Prayer : Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to directing the respondents to provide adequate protection to the petitioner's husband namely Nagendran S/o. Ponnusamy aged 49 years life convict (No.1236) while transit to attend the court or hospital for providing treatment.

The writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to provide adequate protection to the petitioner's husband namely Nagendran S/o. Ponnusamy aged 49 years life convict (No.1236) while transit to attend the court or hospital for providing treatment.

2. The learned Additionl Public Prosecutor would submit that pending this writ petition, the petitioner has filed HCP and other petitions periodically.

3. It seems that the petitioner is asking police protection periodically and the same was also extended. Further the petitioner has also filed HCP as such the prayer is not maintainable and no circumstances warrant to grant the relief sought for in this petition.

4. With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
