No.521/PM1/2007 dated 24.06.2011 within a reasonable time and further direct the respondents to settle the retirement benefits to the petitioner within a reasonable time.

The petitioner has approached this Court for a direction to conclude the enquiry proceedings by passing final orders. It is stated that on 30.06.2016, the enquiry officer was appointed and conducted enquiry and witnesses were examined. Thereafter, the petitioner has also submitted his written statement of defence on 24.08.2019, inspite of the same no orders have been passed.

2. Mr.R.Govindasamy, Special Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on merits , a direction is given to the 1st respondent to pass final orders on the disciplinary proceedings pending against the petitioner within a period of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.

The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observation and direction. No costs.
