ORDER

This Court, vide orders all dated 24.07.2023 allowed the writ petitions by quashing the respective impugned awards and remanded the matters back to the Labour Court, Salem for fresh adjudication and directed the Labour Court, Salem to dispose of the same within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

2. However, as the matters could not be disposed of within the stipulated period, the Presiding Officer of the Labour Court has sent a letter dated 01.02.2025 to the Registrar General seeking further four months time to dispose of the cases. Accordingly, the matters are listed today under the caption 'For extension of time'.

3. In view of the above, this Court, is inclined to grant further period of six months to dispose of the cases in I.D.Nos.226, 228 and 223 of 2005 and the Presiding Officer, Labour Court, Salem is directed to dispose of the same, within a period of six (6) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 17-02-2025 To The Presiding Officer, Labour Court, Salem.
