This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register a case based on the petitioner's complaint dated 18.03.2013 and to investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. It is seen that the petitioner was arrested on 19.05.2011 in Crime No.287 of 2011. It is the allegation of the petitioner that he was assaulted by the police. In respect of this incident, complaint was given only on 18.03.2013 to the first respondent. Following it https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

up, further complaint dated 26.03.2015 was given. On account of enormous delay, this Court cannot direct the respondent police for investigation.
