Heard the submissions made by Mr.R.Bharath Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

2.This Civil Revision Petition has been filed for a direction to the learned Rent Controller, Alandur to dispose of R.C.O.P.No.83 of 2009 within the time to be stipulated by this Court.

3.Mr.R.Bharath Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner / landlord initiated eviction proceedings against the respondent on the grounds of wilful default and for demolition and reconstruction. The landlord also filed a petition in M.P.No.28 of 2011 under section 11(4) of the Tamil Nadu Buildings (Lease and Rent Control) Act, for a direction to the tenant to pay the arrears of rent for the period from August 2008 to December 2010 amounting to Rs.83,000/-. After enquiry, the Rent Controller has allowed the petition and the appeal filed by the tenant, challenging the order was also dismissed by the Appellate Authority. Despite the orders, the tenant has not paid the rent and the Rent Controller has not passed the consequential order in the eviction petition. 4.

Considering the facts of the case and the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Rent Controller Cum District Munsif, Alandur is directed to dispose of R.C.O.P.No.83 of 2009, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably on or before 30.06.2015.

5.This Civil Revision Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
