ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for direction directing the Trial Court i.e., Fast Track - I (Magistrate Level), Egmore, to forthwith number the case filed by the Petitioner in S.T.C. (SR) No.56829 of 2024 and to proceed further in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials placed on record.

3. The petitioner is the complainant and the respondents are accused for the offence punishable under Section 138 read with Section 141 of Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881. The petitioner lodged a complaint and the same was returned for want of corrections. Though the petitioner re-presented

the same after complying with the corrections, the Trial Court failed to take the complaint on file so far.

4. In view of the above, the Fast Track-I (Magistrate Level), Egmore, is directed to take the complaint on file, if it is otherwise in order and record the sworn statement, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
