ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehend arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 420, 294(b) and 506(1) of IPC in Crime No.82 of 2026 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused had borrowed lump sum amounts from the defacto complainant. A1 had executed a promissory note with the defacto complainant with an assurance to pay back the same. When the defacto complainant had asked for the money she was threatened and blackmailed. Hence the case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that there are four previous cases against the petitioner and hence, he opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

5. Considering the submission of the learned Government Advocate, this Court is of the view that the petitioner does not deserve for anticipatory bail. According, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 13-03-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order MTL
