By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

The petitioner claims that he is the organizer of the temple festivals in respect of Sri Pidari Amman, Sri Veeranar Swamy, Sri Munnadiyar Swamy situate at Thambi Kottai - Kizha Kadu Village, Thiruthuraipoondi Taluk, Thiruvarur District. He submitted a representation on 01.06.2015 to the respondent praying for permission to conduct cultural and other programme on the date of temple festival to be held on 08.06.2015 and though it was received and acknowledged by the respondent, so far he has not been favoured with any response. Hence, he has come forward with this writ petition.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would, on instructions, submit that while conducting the temple festival, cultural and dance programme will be performed and there will not be any vulgarity or obscenity while conducting the said programme and the petitioner would be satisfied if a direction is issued to the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner. 4.Mr.M.Dig Vijayapandian, the learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice for the respondents, would submit that within a specified time the application/representation of the petitioner will be considered and disposed of.

5. Though the petitioner prayed for a positive direction, taking note of the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's application/representation dated 08.06.2015 in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders on the same on or before 06.06.2015 and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
